Enriching

Dear Dean Hollibaugh,

Thank you so much for such a great year! Every single class, you inspired me to dive deeper into the texts and to think more critically about what themes were covered and how they were covered. As we discussed, I began LitHum apprehensive about the bulk of work, but I quickly realized that your class was so enjoyable and thought-provoking that the reading did not become overwhelming because I was excited about gaining a richer sense of the themes so that I could actively participate in amazing class discussions. Your feedback on my writing was also so helpful and led me to look at the nuances of my argument even more closely. Each of these pursuits helped me develop my analytical skills and gave me an overall richer understanding of our studies.

Aside from having the chance to be a part of what will probably be one of the most intellectually enriching classes, I really appreciated the opportunity to learn from you outside of the classroom. Thank you so much for all the hours you spent speaking with me about possible majors and advising me on other concerns. I know I will carry your wisdom with me long after this class ends, and I am so grateful to have been in your class. I look forward to meeting in person! Thank you again for everything, and I hope you have a great summer!
